My parents had given up on my luck with opposite sex and decided it was time that i needed some help. Somewhere across the globe in London a perky bird partied unaware of where her future would lead her.
I met "Ni" on a sunny morning in April'08. Both said yes in the same evening ... I guess it was more logical than love ie, Religion, Education, DNA etc. I personally do not think that i made an impression on her during our mini date ... i think i just got lucky ! :)
Love blossomed a couple of days later over hundreds of SMS's and some stolen poetry. I was madly in love with her within a week and would blush pink which showed even on my dark skin. The courtship days were one of the most beautiful phase in my life. I got married at the age of 24 .. yes child marriage according to some of my friends !
The marriage meant we spent almost the entire time together. Ni adjusting to sangli was more challenging than me to the saas bahu serials. However life moved on and we adjusted quite well and had a little monster of our own!
Thinking about the sacrifices she made to ensure i stayed sane speaks volumes of her patience and understanding. She was my guide and co partner while i evolved from a crazy fat tadpole to a level headed middle aged not so fat frog.
She became the base pilot to this unguided drone which hovered around the skies from America to Africa. She was supposed to be my responsibility but i think the opposite is more true. She not only made me calm down but also taught me life lessons more valuable than my professional education. My life is now more peaceful, happier and disciplined all thanks to this damsel in my life. I think i am a better Son & a Father all thanks to her. I am sorry could not work on my laziness ... i think we shall leave some improvement for the next reincarnations ! :)

P.S : I think I exaggerated too much about the discipline. Like all male species, i still feel that the best place for a wet towel is atop the bed ! :D
